Bought the R10 specifically for working in confined backyards where bigger machines can't fit. It threads through gates and around houses without issue. Has paid for itself in saved labor.
Months of research before pulling the trigger. RIPPA kept coming up as a value leader in the compact class. After 60 hours of use I see why - capable, reliable, well-priced.
Had to tighten bolts in the first 10 hours and a hydraulic fitting weeped slightly. Once sorted the R10 has run okay. Customer service was slow to respond.
About 45 hours on my R10 and zero issues so far. Starts every time, hydraulics are smooth, and the tracks have good grip. RIPPA makes a competitive machine in this class.
Compared to a comparable Kubota or Yanmar mini the savings are real. The R10 does the same fundamental work for far less money. Build quality is better than I expected.
