Pilot system makes the difference
The pilot controls are much smoother than the older manual control AGTs. Combined with the hydraulic thumb the 1 ton AGT is a serious upgrade. Worth the step up from base models.

Hydraulic thumb is essential
For the work I do - brush clearing, drainage installation, stump removal - the hydraulic thumb makes solo work much faster. The pilot system means precise control over the thumb.

Better than old AGT, still budget
The updates are real but this is still a budget machine. Some plastic trim is cheap and the documentation is rough. Pilot system and hydraulic thumb are the reasons to buy.

Great updated AGT
Owned an older AGT and the updated 1 ton with pilot system and hydraulic thumb is a major improvement. Smoother operation, better control feel, and the thumb is essential for debris.

Bought to maintain our property. The AGT 1 ton has handled trenching, brush clearing, drainage, and stump removal. The hydraulic thumb makes every job faster.
